Kiana Chan (b.2003) is a Hong Kong born violinist currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the Royal College of Music in London as a Stanbridge Drake-Brockman Scholar, studying under Professor Alexander GIlman. She graduated from the RCM with First Class Honours in her Bachelor of Music degree in 2025.
As a prominent member of the internationally acclaimed string ensemble LGT Young Soloists, Kiana has toured extensively, performing in many of the world’s most prestigious concert halls across Europe, Asia, and Australia, including the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and the Shanghai Oriental Art Center. With the ensemble, she has appeared both as a soloist and chamber musician, and has contributed to professional recordings and film projects. Her performances are recognised for their expressive musicality, refined technique, and commanding stage presence.
Kiana began her violin studies at the age of five at YCIS in Shanghai. At eleven, she became a pupil of the distinguished violinist Takako Nishizaki, and at fourteen she was accepted into Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester, where she studied with Jiafeng Chen.
She made her orchestral solo debut at the age of eleven with the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Lao’s Symphonie Espagnole. Since then, she has appeared as a soloist with the Hong Kong City Chamber Orchestra and the Shanghai Baroque Orchestra, performing Saint-Saëns’s Violin Concerto No.3 in both 2035 and 2016. In 2026, she made her UK solo debut with the Alderley Edge Symphony Orchestra, performing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor under the baton of Richard Howarth, with whom she also performed Saint-Saëns Violin Concerto No.3 with the Wrexham Symphony Orchestra in 2025.

作为国际知名弦乐团 LGT Young Soloists 的重要成员,陈澄慧长期随团在欧洲、亚洲及澳大利亚巡回演出,并登上多座世界顶级音乐殿堂的舞台,包括德国汉堡易北爱乐音乐厅(Elbphilharmonie Hamburg)、荷兰阿姆斯特丹皇家音乐厅(Concertgebouw Amsterdam)以及上海东方艺术中心。她不仅以独奏家身份登台,也积极参与室内乐演出,并参与了多项专业录音及影视音乐项目。她的演奏以真挚细腻的音乐表达、扎实精湛的技巧和沉稳自信的舞台风格广受赞誉。
陈澄慧五岁开始于上海耀中国际学校(YCIS)学习小提琴。十一岁起师从著名小提琴家西崎崇子(Takako Nishizaki),十四岁考入英国曼彻斯特柴塔姆音乐学校(Chetham’s School of Music),师从著名小提琴教育家陈家峰教授(Jiafeng Chen)。
十一岁时,她与上海爱乐乐团合作演出拉罗《西班牙交响曲》,完成协奏曲首演。此后,她先后与香港城市室乐团及上海巴洛克乐团合作,于2015年及2016年演出圣-桑《第三小提琴协奏曲》。2022年,她与英国奥尔德利埃奇交响乐团(Alderley Edge Symphony Orchestra)合作,在指挥家理查德·豪沃思(Richard Howarth)的执棒下演奏 门德尔松《E小调小提琴协奏曲》,完成英国协奏曲首演。近期,她再度与豪沃思合作,携手雷克瑟姆交响乐团(Wrexham Symphony Orchestra)演出圣-桑《第三小提琴协奏曲》。
